Remembering the extraordinary life of

Mary Shelton

January 17, 1961 - January 20, 2024

“Deep peace of the running waves to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the smiling stars to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you,
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.”

Mom loved this Ancient Gaelic Prayer and had it hanging in her room.

Funeral Information

Due to Dad’s cancer treatments in Tennessee, we cannot travel and have to delay Mom’s services. The Rosary, Wake, Bonfire, and Funeral Mass will be held in Tacoma in Summer 2024.

Please pray for us in the meantime and check back for details.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Mom loved this quote by Mark Twain. She kept it on a small card in her wallet.
